The Beginning of a New Chapter

Dear SPECTRAL Community,

It’s not often we want or dare to break character for announcements. We want the SPECTRAL Universe to be narrative driven and always move the story forward. As we leave open the initial phase of our Genesis mint, we want to share some reflections and the path forward. While the number of NFTs minted clearly may not have met industry expectations, every great journey starts with small steps.

Many of the amazing communities ablaze today are here, not because they minted out, but because they were resilient in their desire to deliver. We will continue to cook. We have a narrative that needs to be heard and we are thrilled to see the few early pioneers who have taken this first step with us.

Our Commitment Remains Unwavering

The minting portal remains open at mint.spectralsignal.io. For those still considering joining our adventure, it’s not too late. The upcoming reveal next week will bring the first wave of our stunning 3D NFTs to life, and we are excited to share what comes next. Each ship is unique in attributes, functionality and visibility and all will have their time in the light. Those who’ve joined us early will not be forsaken.

Looking Ahead

The unminted NFTs hold potential and possibilities. Post-reveal, we will clarify their fate, whether to continue minting or reserve them for future phases. Regardless, our commitment to enriching the SPECTRAL universe is stronger than ever. We are exploring multiple avenues, including expanding to platforms like the Apple App Store and Google Play, to bring our universe to more adventurers in Web2 and Web3. We’ve done this before many times and will do it again.

Building Together

The journey so far has been enriched by incredible partnerships and community support. We are eager to discuss more in an upcoming AMA session with the Sequence team, who play a pivotal role in what we're building. Look for an announcement to join that as we host Sequence in the coming weeks. Their support is also invaluable to us.

We saw great support from the Arbitrum community and team as well. We are looking forward to continuing to communicate with the DAO and Offchain labs as we all build toward a better Web3.

And of course, the Wolf Den. The pioneers who helped us begin this journey. We look forward to more from them and the GUARD FDN.

A Message from the Bridge: Ember Wells Weighs In

As our initial captain-call phase continues, it’s clear that the words of Steel Thompson have echoed far and deep, resonating with a mix of excitement and trepidation among potential pilots. The daunting prospect of journeying into unknown realms where one might not return has indeed made some hesitant to step forward. The SIGNAL seems to have given the human race, a new found appreciation or meaning of the current journey they’re already on.

This universe, as vast and mysterious as it is, calls for the bravest of souls. The Solar Planetary Alliance (SPA) acknowledges the courage required to embark on such perilous journeys and is ramping up its efforts to rally more pilots. We are extending our call across the plains and local group—the SIGNAL is still loud and clear, a mystery to solve, legacies to forge but one thing is incessant; there’s no turning back now.

The SPA will continue to seek out those rare spirits ready to chart the uncharted. Join us, as every pilot matters, every mission counts, and together, we can illuminate the darkest reaches of the universe. These early pilots, for vain or glory, may find enlightenment or riches, or as before mentioned, or more pain and suffering should the SIGNAL bearers be of nefarious origin. But an experience is guaranteed and the SPA hastens their desires to reward the bold.
